EL TESORO TEQUILA ANEJO MUNDIAL COLLECTION LAPHROAIG EDITION 750ML

Starting in 2021, El Tesoro began releasing highly limited Single Barrel ‘Mundial’ liquids each year, aging our award-winning tequila in casks from like-minded brands across the globe that share our commitment to craftsmanship and quality. For the 2022 edition, we built upon the foundation established in 2021, once again utilizing Laphroaig 10-Year-Old casks for the aging process. Instead of aging our Reposado for three additional months in the ex-Laphroaig casks, however, our Blanco tequila spent a full year resting in these storied barrels. The final tequila is slightly drier, with more of the smoky, peat influence from the Scotch. The core agave flavors remain richly prevalent as the center and soul of our tequila. The marriage of the rich, agave-forward profile of El Tesoro tequila with a touch of the unforgettable smoky complexity of Laphroaig will make this El Tesoro expression truly one-of-a-kind.
