MAKERS MARK BOURBON WOOD FINISHING SERIES THE HEART RELEASE KENTUCKY 750ML

The Wood Finishing Series returns with Unsung Heroes, Series 2 in our ongoing series of limited-edition bourbons. In this series, we explore the taste visions of those who know our bourbon best – the makers of Maker’s. We begin with The Heart Release, the first of five volumes in this series.

The Heart Release pulled together 21 distillery team members who put their hearts into crafting this fruit-forward gem. Their collective taste vision brings us caramel, maple and chocolate notes presented with a mouthfeel and finish sure to delight. It’s their ideal bourbon, one fitting of Star Hill Farm’s Unsung Heroes – those who make Maker’s Mark ® every day.

This release utilizes two custom French oak staves to achieve its one-of-a-kind flavor. The first stave is finished for five weeks, and the second is finished for nine. Blending the two together achieves the taste vision for The Heart Release, an expression designed by 21 members of our distillery team.
